Hi everyone, i have some interesting ideas to share with you today on korean fashion while visiting some online stores that i plan on purchasing some of their outfits when i can.
TRADITIONAL DRESS (HANBOK):
The hanbok (in South Korea) or Chosŏn-ot (in North Korea) is the traditional two piece clothing worn in Korea for formal or semi-formal events and occasions like celebrations, festivities, and services. It is described by its wrapped front top, long, high waisted skirt and its regularly energetic colors.
MODERN TRADITIONAL DRESS
The hanbok has been modernized to look "Traditional casual", with the world changing vastly, korean fashion has taken a toll of it. Korean designers express their creativity in this outfits.
Now, i'm going into modern casual hanbok to show you how you can stay traditional on your every day wears and the shops you can get them from.
MODERN CASUAL HANBOK:
As you can see, more ideas have been brought to life as the traditional casual has been turned to a modern casual but still made with the hanbok material.
1. COREANO
This is my favorite shop to visit because their clothes are absolutely gorgeous and stylish.
I love the way they create these clothe matches as you see in the picture above.
This is another store that sells wonderful "cas-bok" and their designs are more formal and a bit more grown-up, which I like.
3. CHIMAJEOGORI
KOREANS STYLE GUIDE (DO AND DON'TS)
Korean design isn't just about short, scanty garments. If you look carefully, they love surfaces, examples, and lopsidedness. In korea, it's okay to wear short skirts but not expulsive tops, that's a BIG NO to them like the picture below.
OVERSIZED SWEATER AND SHORTS
KOREAN SHIRT DRESS (SUMMER FASHION)
JEANS WITH SPAGHETTI TOP
This is a definite NO in korea!!!, it's funny but they don't go well with these instead they wear these(the picture below)
