There are so many wonderful korean movies I've watched but I'll select these ones I'm bringing to you today as they are the top of my list
1. WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING
While You Were Sleeping (Korean: 당신이 잠든 사이에; RR: Dangsini Jamdeun Saie) is a 2017 South Korean television series starring Lee Jong-suk, Bae Suzy, Jung Hae-in, Lee Sang-yeob, and Ko Sung-hee. Consisting of sixteen chapters distributed over 32 episodes, this legal drama-fantasy television series centers on the lives on three young adults—a field reporter, a prosecutor, and a police officer—who have acquired the ability to foresee future events through their dreams, after saving each other many years ago.
The series is directed by Oh Choong-hwan and written by Park Hye-ryun.[1] It aired on SBS from September 27 to November 16, 2017 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at the 22:00 (KST) time slot. The drama completed filming and editing before airing the pilot episode.[2][3][4] The drama is available on online streaming services such as Viki, KOCOWA, ASIAFLIX and Viu.
You'll think seeing the future is fun but not with these characters, all the tragedy being seen instead of a happily ever after is striking but comforting!!!. Find out what i mean by comforting after watching the movie.
2. UNCONTROLLABLY FOND
Uncontrollably Fond (Korean: 함부로 애틋하게; RR: Hamburo Aeteusage) is a South Korean television series starring Kim Woo-bin and Bae Suzy.[1][2][3][4][5] It aired on KBS2 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 KST from July 6 to September 8, 2016.[6][7][8]
While the audience ratings for the drama fell below expectations locally, it was well-received across Asia. In China, it streamed on Youku simultaneously with South Korea's broadcast and has reached more than 4 billion cumulative views, making it the site's most viewed Korean drama.
This movie definitely brought out tears from my eyes as they express they true feelings of the character they play. It's a movie of true beauty.
3. W (TWO WORLDS)

This movie is about the a romance takes place between Kang Chul (Lee Jong-Suk), who is super rich and exist in the webtoon “W,” and Oh Yeon-Joo (Han Hyo-Joo) who is a surgeon in the real world.

4. SUSPICIOUS PARTNER
Suspicious Partner[4] (Korean: 수상한 파트너; RR: Susanghan Pateuneo) is a 2017 South Korean television series starring Ji Chang-wook and Nam Ji-hyun, with Choi Tae-joon and Kwon Nara. It aired on SBS from May 10 to July 13, 2017 at 22:00 (KST) on Wednesdays and Thursdays for 40 episodes.[5][6]
The show enjoyed modest viewership share, but it beat its competitor by topping the important 20-49 year old demographic, as well as streaming, popularity, and brand reputation charts for consecutive weeks.

5. MELTING ME SOFTLY
Melting Me Softly (Korean: 날 녹여주오; RR: Nal Nokyeojuo; lit. Melt Me) is a 2019 South Korean television series starring Ji Chang-wook, Won Jin-ah and Yoon Se-ah. Created by Studio Dragon and produced by writer Baek Mi-kyung's own company Story Phoenix, it aired on tvN every Saturday and Sunday at 21:00 (KST) from September 28 to November 17, 2019.
Ma Dong-chan (Ji Chang-wook) and Ko Mi-ran (Won Jin-ah) take part in a 24-hour experiment where both are frozen. Things don't go as expected and they wake up from the frozen capsule 20 years later instead of 24 hours. In order to survive the side effects of their cryogenic sleep, they must follow a set of restrictions to maintain their body temperature at 31.5°C (max. 33°C/88-91°F) and keep their heart rate normal. The scientist behind the experiment is the only one who knows the key to their survival but he has lost his memory after an accident. Racing against time, the story focuses on two dynamic individuals' attempt to resume normalcy and catch up on the lost time of their lives.
This movie will definitely "melt" your heart away and still leave you "FROZEN".
6. THE K2
The K2 (Korean: 더 케이투; RR: Deo Keitu) is a 2016 South Korean television series starring Ji Chang-wook and Im Yoon-ah.
Kim Je-ha (Ji Chang Wook) is a former mercenary soldier for the PMC Blackstone. While in Iraq, he gets framed for the murder of his lover Raniya, a civilian. As a result, he runs away and becomes a fugitive. He returns to South Korea and by chance, gets offered to work as a bodyguard by Choi Yoo-jin, the owner of JSS Security Company and wife of the presidential candidate, Jang-Se joon. He accepts the job in exchange for resources that he needs in order to get his revenge on another presidential candidate, Park Kwan-soo, who previously ordered the killing of his lover. In the meantime, Je-ha gets assigned to guard Go An-na (Im Yoon-ah), the hidden daughter of Jang Se-joon, whose life is always threatened because of Yoo-jin, her stepmother. An-na, who has been reclused and lonely all her life, starts relying on Je-ha, who shows concern for her and protects her at all costs. They slowly fall in love with each other, which makes Je-ha torn between having to work with his ally, Yoo-jin, in order to get his revenge and protecting his new found love, An-na, against his own ally. Eventually, Je-ha finally achieved his goal of revenge and have Park hanged himself for his atrocious acts and with Je-ha cleared his name, but at the price of both Jang Se-joon and Choi Yoo-jin's lives. The series end with Je-ha and An-na embracing each other in a foreign country, with An-na asking Je-ha what is his real name and Je-ha about to reveal it.
7. Abyss
Ko Se-Yeon (Kim Sa-Rang) is a beautiful prosecutor and she is good at her job. She gets into an accident and dies. Due to mysterious bead Abyss, Ko Se-Yeon is revived, but she now has a different appearance. Ko Se-Yeon (Park Bo-Young) now possesses a common appearance. The mysterious bead Abyss revives dead persons, but they gain a different appearance. Their appearance depends on how good their spirit was.
Meanwhile, Cha Min (An Se-Ha) is the successor of a cosmetics company. He is smart, humble and has a good heart. He is also unattractive. Cha Min gets into an accident and dies. Due to the mysterious bead Abyss, he comes back to life with a different appearance. Cha Min (Ahn Hyo-Seop) now has a handsome appearance.
Ko Se-Yeon begins to work as an attorney at a law firm. Cha Min begins to work for Ko Se-Yeon at the law firm. (This plot synopsis is gotten from AsianWiki).
8. MOON LOVERS (SCARLET HEART)
During a total solar eclipse, a 25-year-old 21st-century woman, Go Ha-jin (Lee Ji-eun), is transported back in time to the Goryeo Dynasty. She wakes up in the year of 941 in the body of Hae Soo, among the many royal princes of the ruling Wang family during the reign of King Taejo. She initially falls in love with the gentle and warm-hearted 8th Prince Wang Wook (Kang Ha-neul), and later Wang So (Lee Joon-gi), the fearsome 4th Prince who hides his face behind a mask and is given the derogatory label of "wolf dog". As the story develops, Hae Soo finds herself unwittingly caught up in palace politics and the rivalry among the princes as they fight for the throne.(This plot synopsis is gotten from AsianWiki).
9. VAGABOND
Cha Dal-gun (Lee Seung-gi)[8] works as an underrated stuntman, while simultaneously taking care of his orphaned nephew, Cha Hoon (Moon Woo-jin). Although they have a fairly loving relationship, Hoon argues with his uncle before he leaves to go on a field trip to Morocco. Just before the plane takes off, Hoon sends a video of himself encouraging Dal-gun to continue following his dream to become a master in Taekwondo.
At a drama set Dal-gun watches a report of a plane crash that killed over 200 civilians due to structural failure. He is completely shocked when he realizes that it is the exact same plane his nephew had taken to Morocco. With his world now turned upside down, Dal-gun travels to Morocco to attend the funeral for all the victims of the plane crash, grieving for the loss of his nephew.
Dal-gun is about to return home, when he recognizes a supposedly dead passenger from the video his nephew had recorded.[9] He manages to confront the man and slowly begins to realize that the plane crash was not at all because of a malfunction. However, any evidence he finds is mysteriously erased and his life is threatened whenever he tries to prove to others that the plane crash was not an accident.
As the situation quickly becomes more heated, he is forced to become partners with Go Hae-ri (Bae Suzy),[10] a covert operative for the National Intelligence Service striving for a promotion. Determined to find out the truth behind the accident, Dal-gun and Hae-ri embark on an investigation that leads them deeper and deeper into a tangled web of corruption.(This plot synopsis is gotten from Wikipedia).
10. DOCTORS
Yoo Hye-jung (Park Shin-hye) was a headstrong girl in high school with a prickly, gangster personality. Due to her many childhood scars, Hye-jung keeps her heart closed towards other people. However, she changes after meeting her mentor Hong Ji-hong (Kim Rae-won), who plays a key role in transforming her life from a "hopeless" delinquent to a compassionate doctor. They part ways subsequently but meet again after 13 years, when Yoo Hye-jung had become a doctor.(This plot synopsis is gotten from Wikipedia).
